New in 2012, A volunteer group has formed in Eastern Alberta and is planning a ride in Cypress Hills for September 8th.

The event will be held at the historic Reesor Ranch. There is onsite camping and a log barn which sleeps up to 30 people. There are provincial campgrounds nearby as well.

Horses are availale for rent, but please contact the ranch directly to make arrangements.

Just as in Kananaskis, your day starts early with registration and a pancake breakfast. Then it's out onto the trails for a great day. All groups will be escorted by experienced trail bosses and you must stay with your group. When you return, we'll have a light supper, entertainment, prizes, a silent auction and lots more fun.

Each rider needs to bring in minimum of $50.00 to participate.

All riders should have insurance through the Alberta Equestrian Federation. This is protection for you and your horse and is available at a nominal cost.
